UPDATE!!!
The secure disposal of sensitive paper is so important that communities incorporate paper shredding into their public services. So, I’m following up on last month’s post by adding the Bergen county shredding events that are taking place in October.
The BCUA.org site conveniently lists all the regional and municipal shredding events. Residents can bring up to four bags or boxes (weighing up to 10 lbs. each) of confidential paper (recycle your magazines and newspaper curbside!)
There’s also one more regional event on October 6th, for county residents at the Bergen County Campgaw Mountain Reservation (9A-2P; 200 Campgaw Rd., Mahwah).
